This year’s MIPCOM is just days away and for the 39th edition, the lineup is looking impressive.
As entertainment executives and media buyers head over to MIPCOM Cannes this October, more than 12,000 delegates are expected to descend on the French Riviera. Over 100 countries are also being represented at this year’s event which is set to welcome 3000 buyers.
Having made its mark on the entertainment industry calendar, MIPCOM has grown over the years into an international media event with its content market, networking opportunities and keynote speeches. Not forgetting world premiere screenings, this year’s event will also include an AI summit.
From NBC Universal to Studio Canal and Telefilm Canada, broadcasters and media companies alike will exhibit their programmes this year. Among some of the guests for the 2023 MIPCOM include Cris Abrego, Chairman of the Americas, Banijays and actress Eva Longoria.
On the fringes of the festival, the French Riviera will benefit from a tourism boost as delegates book hotels, wine and dine, and hold a series of lavish events. At this time of year, the local property market also gets a boost as visitors from around the world make investment decisions on commercial and residential real estate in Monaco, Nice and Cannes among other Côte d’Azur destinations.
The 2023 MIPCOM event will take place from 16-19 October.
