TFWA is putting together a full schedule of live and online events in 2023, including its Cannes conference, to build on the success of its events in 2022.
TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference, which will take place at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore from May 7–11, is the first live event of the year.
For the first time in five years, the ASUTIL Conference, organised by TFWA on behalf of ASUTIL, will be held in South America. The physical meeting will be on June 7 and 8 at the Hilton Hotel in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The TFWA World Exhibition & Conference, the international summit for duty-free and travel retail, will take place around the end of the year. 6,000 participants attended this event in Cannes last year. The event this year will run from October 1 until October 5.
“The industry’s response to our events last year was incredibly positive, and the enthusiasm to conduct business face-to-face and meet with friends and industry colleagues was very evident. We are confident the range of events scheduled for 2023, both in-person and online, will provide a useful springboard for our members and business partners as they prepare for what promises to be a year of considerable opportunity for our industry,” said Erik Juul-Mortensen, TFWA President.
These gatherings will bring together the duty-free and travel retail industries for an opportunity to learn, network, and forge relationships. They will also give industry experts a platform to exchange market insights.
A comprehensive schedule of webinars will be held on TFWA 365 throughout the year in addition to these trade shows. On February 9, the first meeting of the year will take place, with a focus on the prognosis for travel in the first half of 2023.
